- I'm very thankful to God for all He has done for me in establishing this business. When I moved to Shelbyville in 1991 I had just about nothing that I needed to start this new career and business, including equipment and experience. But since then He has provided all the tools and materials I need to do the job, and He has enabled me to learn the trade and to be successful. I have a base of over 900 customers for whom I've done repair or refinishing work, and, for the most part, they have been wonderful to work for. I always like to keep in mind that I am not working to please myself when I restore a piece of furniture, but the finished product needs to satisfy the desires of my customer. Every day is different, and every project is a new challenge. I love it. If this wasn't my job it would be my hobby. What a blessing to enjoy my employment! Glory to Jesus. Thanks for reading, John
